Ben Krater, MD

As  a Board Member of ConsensioHealth, Dr. Benjamin Krater contributes expertise  in clinical operations, physician performance, and organizational growth.  Within Independent Emergency Physicians (IEP), he plays an active role on the  Leadership Development Committee, where he helps shape initiatives focused on  physician engagement, succession planning, and the development of future  organizational decision-makers to support long-term sustainability and  performance. Dr. Krater also serves as Vice President of Operations for IEP’s  Post-Acute Care service line, supporting the development and operational  integration of care models across the acute and post-acute continuum. In  addition, he is Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Henry Ford  St. John Hospital and Medical Center, a Level I trauma center with  approximately 80,000 annual patient visits. Dr. Krater’s experience  cultivating operationally minded physician leaders positions him to provide  informed guidance on corporate governance, executive continuity, and  strategic direction in support of scalable, high-performing healthcare  organizations.
