As a Board Member of ConsensioHealth, Dr. Rami Khoury brings extensive expertise in clinical operations, physician leadership, and system-wide performance improvement. He is Chief Operating Officer of Independent Emergency Physicians (IEP), where he leads operational strategy across emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and observation services while continuing to practice as an emergency physician. Dr. Khoury has held significant leadership roles at both the state and national level, including serving on the Board of Directors of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), as President of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians (MCEP), and currently as a member of the NEMPAC Board of Trustees. A respected advocate for emergency medicine and patient care, he has testified before state and federal agencies on policies impacting the specialty and previously served as MCEP Legislative Chair. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has held executive and academic leadership roles at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. Through his combined experience in clinical operations and legislative advocacy, Dr. Khoury brings strategic perspective that supports effective corporate governance and aligns operational performance with the broader objectives of a successful, integrated healthcare system.
